Hi there. 🙂
Last week I received something great. Probably the perfect Christmas present for someone who loves makeup. The Urban Decay Vice Lipstick palette in Blackmail. Let’s start with the packaging. The palette comes in a luxe, gunmetal tin with a huge mirror in the lid. It has VICE embossed on the top and I’m sure you’ll agree it’s gorgeous. Inside, there is a flip-open cover for the lipsticks. I love this idea because you won’t accidentally touch the pans when opening the palette.
The palette comes with 12 (yes 12) Vice shades in a variety of formula’s. It includes cream, sheer and matte shades. In the pan it seems like some of the shades are quite out-there, but as you’ll see in the swatches below, they all look great and wearable. With the exception of Disobedient, which is a tad too light and cool for my skin tone. The swatches below are according to the palette. The top half of the image is the top 6 shades and the bottom, the second row of shades.
I’m not the biggest fan of the applicator brush that comes with the palette, mostly because I’m lazy. But it’s a small thing.
Overall, this palette is now available at Urban Decay Sandton and Foschini Eastgate for R700, which is really great value for money! I really think you should pick this one up!
