I received the Vichy Purete Thermale Beautifying Cleansing Micellar Oil last week as part of the Vichy Purete Thermale collection and it is now my HG micellar oil. That’s it. Why? How did I decide so quickly?
Well, two pumps of this beauty massaged into my face and then rinsed off removed a FULL face of makeup. Yep, including eyeliner and mascara. It even left my towel clean.
Vichy Purete Thermale Beautifying Cleansing Micellar Oil (Phew) is a cleansing oil similar to Dermalogica Precleanse, but at a fraction of the price. It’s an oil that you massage onto a dry face and then add more water and finally rinse off. While adding water, the oil will emulsify into a milky liquid and there should be no foam.
This Vichy Micellar oil is suitable for all skin types (including sensitive skin), is Paraben Free and contains Camelia Oil and Vitamin E to help moisturise skin. The key to this oil is in the micelles, which are molecules that contain that attract dirt, I discussed micelles when I reviewed another water, read about it here.
The Vichy Puerete Thermale Micellar Oil is very lightweight and doesn’t leave a greasy finish or a too dry finish. My skin is left so comfortable and smooth. I love it.
It will be available in July for an RSP of R290.
