I love hair oils and I’ll always be a firm believer in oils for hair, but there are definitely times when my hair calls for a hair mask. Hair masks are simple and flexible. Also, in dire need, they can be used instead of conditioner. I’m not sure if it’s the best practice, but my hair feels amazing. I have thick hair that is quite dry at the ends so I apply this liberally to the ends and let it soak for a few hours before washing my hair. I also use it after shampoo (and it works). However you plan to use this, make sure that you wash it out thoroughly and I mean THOROUGHLY.
I’ve been using the Pantene 2 Minutes Deep Smoothing Mask for normal-thick hair for a month now and I’m impressed. It leaves my hair light, but soft and shiny but not ‘fluffy’. I do find that I have to wash my hair more often now but I’m finding that I don’t have to add as many finishing products to my hair after washes anymore.
