This serum is the star product of the Pond’s Gold Radiance range, the new luxe line from Pond’s. The serum is infused with real gold particles for radiance and vitamin B3 for even skin tone.
The serum comes with a dropper, which is a little thick and long. The serum itself is a transparent gel that contains visible gold particles. I kept this in the dark and tried to replace the cap quickly when I used it so that I could keep air out.
The serum itself is a thicker gel consistency that I can immediately feel melt on my hand and absorbs quickly into my skin. It gave my skin a radiant glow immediately. When I applied this at night, I saw a noticeable difference in the morning. My skin felt smooth and looked slightly brighter.
After continued use, I did notice my skin was smoother and (again) more radiant. I feel that it really improved the brightness around my eyes.
This is where I really struggled with the serum. Once you use it a few times, the dropper makes air bubbles in the serum and it gets a little hard to ‘suck’ some serum up into the dropper. I really didn’t want to stand around doing it for five minutes. But, this could be my ridiculous behaviour and it might work well for you 🙂
I really think those looking for a serum, but not willing to pay the price for high-end brands should really consider this. It might have issues, but I sometimes find myself choosing it over my more expensive serums. The Pond’s Gold Radiance precious Youth Serum retails for R219.99 .
