I faintly recall seeing Fino Soothe on a store shelf, what I never really considered was actually using it. I thought that if I just took extra care when shaving things wold be fine. They really weren’t. I’m not sure if any woman is immune to ingrown hairs, itching and general discomfort for a few days after shaving or even waxing.
Fino Soothe claims to relieve us from these symptoms and I set out to test it with my sensitive skin and thicker hair.
Fino Soothe comes in a handy (and hygienic) tube that makes it easy to use a very specific amount. It has a gel-cream like consistency, similar to an opaque gel and is completely fragrance free for me at least. A little goes a long way with this product, I found myself nearly always rubbing in an excess that probably wasn’t needed.
Did it work?
It really worked to soothe the mild irritation I experienced with shaving under my arms. Once applied, the gel has a cooling sensation which calms the area almost immediately. The effects lasted for most of the day. It kept my areas smooth and definitely decreased the amount of bumps I would normally see after hair removal.
I would definitely repurchase this!
Fino Soothe is available at Dischem, selected pharmacies and Rubybox online for a RSP of R69.
I am still going to force the Male version onto the boyf and review it separately, because I am tired of his constant scratching at his stubble!
