Dark under eye circles are annoying to say the least. I’ve noticed that I’m developing some as well. They are horrible, make you look tired, sick or worse- old. But there are definitely ways to get rid of them. And a few of them won’t cost you an arm and a leg. Let me know if you have any other secret under-eye remedies 🙂
1. Potatoes + Cucumber
Cut a few cucumber slices and place them over the eyes for 5-10 minutes. Lean back and relax. You can do the same with potatoes.
2. Cold Teaspoon
This is one my grandmother passed down to me. Pressing a cold (not freezing) teaspoon against your eye will freshen it up by preventing more puffiness and adding brightness
3. Drink enough water, get proper sleep and Vitamin A
Sometimes you get dark circles because you actually are tired. Drink enough water to keep your skin properly hydrated and a Vitamin A cream will help target ageing around the eyes.
4. Eye creams
There are many eye creams and potions available today for these issues, the best would be to find the cause of your under eye circles (genetic, exhaustion etc.) and find out which is the best way to solve it. If none of the above methods are at making any difference.
