I’m always willing to try random things for my eczema and pimples. I’ve done some incredibly weird things over the past few years to prevent myself from taking antibiotics or using cortisone creams on my face or body.
So when my dad brought home some Sudocrem on the weekend. I had an open mind, and even more so after reading rave reviews online from tons of eczema and acne sufferers. I decided to try it.
It works wonders if you have a pimple coming up under the skin or have popped a pimple and want the healing process to get done faster. it doesn’t seem to clog my pores and definitely isn’t too drying for my eczema-prone skin.
I just apply a layer of it over my normal moisturizer on the affected areas and go to bed. You can only wear this at night though because it leaves a white mask over your face.
It is not as cheap here as it is overseas, but it is about R30 for a small tub, which still is cheaper than other pimple cures. And has also been known to help with the healing of minor burns.
Also, be aware that it may sting a little.
